Starting with a small plot of a less than an hectare in 1945, Marcel & Huguette Gitton discovered and pioneered single–site, terroir–focused Sancerres. The exclusively estate grown & bottled wines have been sold in over 30 countries for more than 40 years.
Marcel Gitton, the grandfather, was passionate about vineyards and separating each cuvée according to different soils, graftings and exposition. Pascal, the son, his Australian wife Denise, and the grand –daughter Chanel, carry on the tradition today.The domain now extends to 33 ha on 3 AOCs.
